Ingredients for 12 servings:
- Wheat flour 2 cups
- Honey 2 tablespoons
- Sugar ¾ cup
- Soda 1.5 teaspoons
- Gingerbread spice ½ pack
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Eggs 1 for the dough + 1 for brushing
- Warm milk ⅓ cup
Preparation:
- Add the hot honey to the sifted flour and chop the mixture with a knife. Then add the sugar, baking soda, gingerbread spice, melted butter, and the egg, mixing continuously. Finally, add warm milk, a teaspoon at a time, until you get a dough with a clay‑like consistency. You may not use all the milk.
- Knead the dough, place it on a floured pastry board, roll it out to a thickness of 1 cm, cut out shapes with a cookie cutter, and arrange them on a parchment‑lined baking sheet. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Place in the oven and bake according to the instructions on the display.
